FAQs
Are there any side effects during IV process?
No major side effects are usually seen after an IV treatment. A small bruise may occur after treatment. It is normal to experience a cooling sensation during the treatment. You might experience a taste during and after infusion due to certain vitamins al of which is normal.
Does it hurt?
While some people are nervous around needles we find most people feel a pinch at time of IV insertion which goes away once in place. Our team is composed of Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses who have extensive experience in IV placement and infusion. We use the appropriate size needle for each individual hoping to minimize discomfort and bruising at site.
Why can’t I just take vitamins for my nutrients?
When taken orally, only a fraction (12-30%) of the essential nutrients are absorbed due to a variety of factors: unhealthy diet, insufficient essential nutrients, widespread prevalence of gastrointestinal problems, chronic illness and more. With IV HYDRATION AND VITAMIN THERAPY 90-100% of the nutrients are absorbed into the bloodstream, where they can immediately be used by your body.
How long are IV nutrient therapy drips?
The majority of our drips take 30-60 minutes to infuse. Some of our specialty drips take longer up 2 hours due to the specific molecule or nutrient such as NAD+. Your hands will be free so you can relax, listen to music, read, or do your work while you receive your IV nutrient therapy. Feel free to bring your device and headphones.
Do you offer other treatments besides the IV drips?
Yes, we offer intramuscular injections such as Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin), Lipo-Mino Mix and Glutathione. We also offer oxygen therapy.
